The following is a list of adult manga and manga-oriented titles, extracted from the full text version of the upcoming Previews Adult catalog (you may download the full file here)… except for our books, which were accidentally left out for this issue. Those books may be resolicited in November… which is just as well, since we’re running one month behind on our schedule anyway. But yar, this kind of sucks. =p
Books are generally released two months after the Previews issue in which they are solicited. Artist homepages are painfully searched for and linked (why don’t all manga publishers link to artist sites? They’re much better at selling me on a book than another boring PR.)
The reason I cover not only our own books, but those from other adult manga publishers as well, is because adult manga generally have a harder time finding their way into retail, and the wide variety of adult manga may lead some comic shops to overlook items they actually might be able to sell. One of the best ways to support adult manga of all kinds is to pre-order these books, and show there is a demand for them.

Not necessarily Japanese manga, but both series often feature artists who are heavily manga inspired.

Hmm… this is volume 4 of 5… will Tokyopop license more, or end this series prematurely?

Well… what else to say but… grrr this sucks! We actually have a full page ad running in Previews, but no books! Now all the other pubs are going to point and laugh and call us chumps, as if we don’t get enough disrespect as it is. Sigh. Click here for our October solicitations that didn’t make it into Previews Adult, but should still ship around the same time frame. Just be extra sure to remind your local comic shop to order our books.

I agree Simon. The TokyoPop website is simply horrible. In any case, I don’t care for Futari H; I haven’t bought it since the first volume came out.
The situation of your books being left off of Previews is going to be an interesting problem for me because I order my books from Mail Order Comics via the Internet. I’m going to have to e-mail them and see if I can get this worked out. If I can’t, I guess I will have to order directly from you.
You really have my sympathies in regards to this situation, because I bet that there are a lot of people who will have no idea what’s going on.
